Home Town Highlight

This is a posting about some of the great things I have come across in the Pacific Northwest! For me, this mostly includes Seattle & Tacoma, Wa. where I grew up and currently live, as well as Portland, Or. where I lived for two years.

Living in Tacoma most of my life I found it boring. When I moved to Portland, I was so excited by all the wonderful and amazing things to do… so impressed that I had too much fun and ran out of money haha hard life lessons.

Now, I have moved back to Tacoma, Washington and I have discovered a new appreciation for it. I’m also finding, there is a growing number of others who are beginning to appreciate it much more as well.

Having seen the way both Portland and Seattle have escalated in price, popularity, and offerings, I feel as though I see Tacoma next on that list. One of the upsides to this is the new supply of food and beer that I am beginning to see. These join some other really great old time places that I have begun to rediscover!

Below is a list I have been working on, following my Portland Database (See Home Town Highlight post dated 12/11/16 here). Like the first, it is an ongoing project and not intended to be complete here. As I continue to discover new places, I will continue to post about them in this Home Town theme. Feel free to take this and make it your own as well!
