The UAE, and Dubai specifically, is one of my favorite places to visit. I love the culture and the people and how warm it is!! I have been lucky enough to visit twice now and I am looking forward to my next trip..whenever that may be.
This list captures some of the recent things that have been on my mind for doing on this next adventure, hopefully I will accomplish some of the things I have missed out on that last couple of times I’ve been.

Walk through the small and windingly alley ways of the souk and get some fresh spices
Head out to the river bank around sunset and hop on one of these babies to enjoy the views of the city from the water
Dubai always makes me feel very adventurous and ready to push my boundaries. I think here might be one of the places I want to take the plunge :p
If its still around, couldn’t find it last time I was there. I heard it is seasonal, so have to plan accordingly.
Hit the lake around sunset and be right on the water as the amazing dancing fountains shoot towards the sky all around me !
I have wanted to do this the past 2 times I have been to Dubai and yet…. it remains incomplete. This must change!
This place is amazing. Went here one day for lunch and the restaurant was in a beautiful covered patio with little nooks and secret stairs and an art gallery connected to it. Then we found out its also a boutique hotel that has really cool looking little rooms, that you take stairs up to off of the main area. Wanted to stay here so badly..although there are some pretty saweet Airbnb’s to stay in… but this would be worth it for sure. Also, this is in the heart of the old traditional part of town, close to the Dubai museum and the souks.
