When traveling, there is a lot of ground to cover.
If not adequately prepared it can take a significant toll on your body, including one of your most important assets, your feet!
My entire life I have struggled to figure this out. Not only a pair of comfortable shoes that could stand up to 8+ miles a day but also something that looked stylish…like the modern woman traveler I am haha of course 😛
Now, once I was willing to put a little bit more $$ into it, I was able to find some better options. One such find was the Mahabis, which is an amazingly cool slipper that you can wear around the house as well as outside.
With a sentiment like “the essence of chill” this company prides itself on the innovation of relaxation and, what could be better then that?
The Mahabis

At about $110, this was a significant purchase for me but, ultimately, it was pretty reasonable. Especially with their multi functioning abilities. I also rationalized this expense by considering this an investment in my life and wellbeing, even if I was able to avoid one more freaking blister!
Now, I have not actually owned these for very long and cannot attest to their distance capabilities nor their long term use. However, so far every day I have worn these shoes I have loved them!
One of the other things I really liked about this brand are all of the options they give for style and color. All of them look modern, sleek, and stylish with a minimalist feel that makes them go with just about anything.
Personally, the pair I own are known as The Outdoor Slipper

I was drawn to these with the thought of wearing them specifically on travel days.
When getting from place to place, from airports and planes to trains, trams, and the million narrow stairs up to your AirBnB…these are an easy, comfortable, and stylish option. In my mind I saw these paired these with a nice soft, semi-fitted track pant or sweat pant, a long jacket, and my wireless Beats headphones. Now I’m feelin like a badass… sashaying down the terminal slow mo like in the movies haha 😀
I really like the feel of these shoes with how form fitting and flexible they are. The black material at the back of the shoe really adds to this because it almost feels like a sock, they even attach down at the sole of the shoe instead of at the top ridge. This keeps it feeling perfected fitted to my foot the entire time I wear it. This, plus the comfort and arch support inside makes this my new favorite shoe.

Another style of the Mahabis I have next on my list to buy is The Classic
What is so cool about this version is its ability to transform from an indoor slipper to an outdoor shoe with the help of a removable sole.
This is freakin brilliant and amazing and I want it!
